Building Level SMART Goal

S.M.A.R.T. Building Level Goal

Some conditions for assessment literacy are the expectations of data utilization, analysis, and implementation for improved student learning at both the classroom and building levels. Often we hear about what students should know and be able to do. This is also true at the teacher and administrator levels. Teachers and administrators should know and be able to work with data for improved student learning. As shared in the works of Marzano, schools work hard, but not smart in making a difference in student achievement. The building leadership team decided to work smarter by doing the right work. The team sets a building goal, which is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound (S.M.A.R.T.) each school year.
